Amber Caramella Appointed to iMasons Advisory Council and Global Executive Sponsor for IM Women

Amber has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industries. Currently, as the SVP Sales at Zayo Group, Amber is responsible for leading Zayo’s Global Data Center, Cloud, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Verticals across United States, Canada and Europe.
In addition to her role on the AC, Amber has accepted the role of Executive Sponsor for the iM Women globally. IM Women is focused on increasing the number of women in the industry and their impact. This includes recruiting more women, growing and developing the professionals in the field, and providing an affinity group for this community to continue to thrive.
Amber will be responsible for strategy, governance, and alignment for the three IM Women’s regional groups, AMER, EMEA, APAC, and act as the executive liaison for strategic alliances with other global organizations focused on gender diversity.
iMasons has been a champion of gender diversity since its inception in 2016. The first independent director board appointee, Maricel Cerrutti, is the Executive Sponsor for Diversity & Inclusion, a founding member of the IM Women MRG, committee member for the first iMasons Diversity Champion award in 2018, and supporter of the $1M Education Challenge.
In Amber’s capacity as IM Women’s exec sponsor, she will also hold a seat on the iMasons Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee, chaired by Hannah Ormondrord. The D&I Committee is comprised of the Chair and Vice Chair from each iM Member. Current MRGs – IM Millennial/GenZ, IM Veterans, IM Women (AMER,EMEA and APAC) and IM Hispanic/LatinX.
