Infrastructure Masons Appoints Hannah Ormondroyd as Chair of Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Infrastructure Masons, the global, professional association for people that work in digital infrastructure, has appointed Hannah Ormondroyd as Chair of the iM Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee.

The mission of iMasons is to Unite the Builders of the Digital Age by creating the platform for members to connect, grow and give back. The association’s current priority is to bridge the talent gap by raising awareness, education, D&I and Sustainability.

Hannah is Head of People at CBRE Data Centre Solutions and brings over 15 years of experience and passion for D&I to the role. Hannah has a strong track record of successfully delivering strategies and training that drive inclusive and effective workplaces.  Most recently, she played a key role at the iM 2019 D&I Gala in Monaco (where CBRE were the main D&I Partner) providing a keynote speech and helped raise significant funds for the iM Scholarship Program – 100% going to scholarships for women.

Hannah’s role as Chair of the D&I Committee will be to steer and coordinate the activities of the newly formed iM Member Resource Groups (MRGs) – iM Women, Millennials, Veterans, and Hispanic/LatinX – with other MRGs to be added in the future.

The MRGs aim to:

  • Create a community where members feel a sense of belonging and can be their authentic self.
  • Provide input and guidance to IM Leadership and highlight the value and advantage of diversity.
  • Raise the visibility of the community within the industry.
  • Develop a network with IM members.
