EkkoSense Leveraging Influence Board Platform to Support Infrastructure Masons’ Scholarship Fund
May 09, 2019
Part of major drive to ‘bridge the talent gap’ and increase digital infrastructure industry recruitment to support continued sector growth.
EkkoSense, an M&E Capacity Planning, Monitoring and Simulation specialist for critical live environments, has announced that it has become a supporter of the Infrastructure Masons (iM) Scholarship Fund, set up to help bridge the talent gap in the digital infrastructure sector.
The iM Scholarship fund supports educational programs, funds scholarships and seeks to help to define the digital infrastructure job ladder to support the evolving needs of industry sector businesses.
Simon Allen Executive Director of The Infrastructure Masons:
“one of the biggest challenges facing the fast-growing digital infrastructure sector is the shortage of talent entering our industry. IM’s mission is to ‘Unite the Builders of the Digital Age’ by creating the platform for our members to connect, grow and give back. One of our key current initiatives is ‘Bridging the Talent Gap’, where Infrastructure Masons is focused on funding scholarships for approved degrees and certificates. We’re delighted that EkkoSense is supporting IM, and – specifically – our Education Challenge fund, with projects including the creation and support of a community of digital infrastructure educators, alignment of mentoring and internship programs, as well as the funding of scholarships.”
Dean Boyle, CEO EkkoSense added: “as an organisation we’re focused on building out our business providing powerful, software-driven thermal optimisation solutions for critical live environments – however we’re also aware that we’re part of broader digital infrastructure community, so we’re proud to be supporting the Infrastructure Masons activities via The Influence Board. At EkkoSense we’re already engaged with local universities supporting PhD and research programmes and one of our senior engineers won last year’s DCS Individual of the Year Award.”
The Infrastructure Masons
The mission of Infrastructure Masons is to Unite the Builders of the Digital Age by creating the platform for members to connect, grow and give back. The current priority of iM is to Bridge the Talent Gap (by Promoting Awareness, EDU & Scholarships and addressing Diversity). iM are raising $1m for scholarships – 50% for women. The Influence Board
The Influence Board (https://influenceboard.com)was conceived of, and created by, one of the largest networks of influential people in the U.S. and Europe: www.CXOmembers.com as a platform to help vendors meet relevant influencers whilst raising money for charity in a creative new way.
For vendors – a way to cut through the noise and get the attention needed.
For influencers – a way to intelligently filter vendor requests for relevancy, and a mechanism to raise money for charitable causes.
